I am going to send the link to your article on Challenging behaviour to my supervisor. She is Head of the MA Autism Spectrum course at Sheffield Hallam University and leads a module called ‘Challenging Behaviour’. Her response to my essay was almost derogatory, she clearly doesn’t understand how disrespectful even running such a module is and I hope your blog will help her to learn better.

Ich habe mit großem Interesse den Artikel in der Zeitung gelesen und war fasziniert, genau so kann ich meinen Sohn beschreiben wir habe unsere/seine Diagnose in diesem Jahr bekommen ,er ist 13 Jahre.
Und in diesem Bericht ist sein Wesen so wie er ist recht gut beschrieben worden ,auch er fühlt sich immer anders. Ganz besonders haben wir bzw die Familie es gemerkt als mein Schwiegervater verstorben ist….seine Reaktion war komplett anders ….für uns Normalos …aber nach Erklärung …sehr verständlich. Gerne würde ich mehr erfahren und mich mit Dir weiter austauschen.
